Wishcast Wednesday

What do you wish to make room for? - the question posed by Ms. Jamie, at her new digs HERE. [one of the dozens of such bookcases at Chatsworth. A sight which makes Toni drool buckets.]

I wish to make room for reading. I have 57 books, in 3 stacks, of titles I either chose myself or which others I trust have recommended. I miss sitting in the corner of the couch with the curtains open, a cup o'java or tea on the ottoman in front of me, a blankie tucked around my knees, Zoe upside down in my lap or draped around my neck somehow. I want to wear my days of the week socks, too -- get OUT of my studio into the sunny welcome of my living room, and get lost, again, in the magic of books.

Wishcast Wednesday

Our question today, from Ms. Jamie: "What do you wish to nurture?" See this? This, seriously, is what my head has felt like the last three weeks -- an explosion of colorful, wonderful, exciting, vivid, and vast ideas --- with flight potential. (& I have a pair o'shorts like that, too, love me some cargos!) My journal is bursting with scribbles going every which-way, trying to jot down, AND FAST, this geyser of goodness for when I return from England.

I wish to nurture creativity -- my OWN. My fledgling creativity brought me to blogging (along with Miss V's endless nagging -- hee!). That creativity connected me with some of the most meaningful people I've met in life's journey so far. And it's also given me myself in ways I hadn't known, prior ... or anticipated. And now what seems to be occurring is that it is, and I am, growing exponentially, the circle is enlarging, my ability to express it is keeping UP with the growth ... Each idea is, and each of you are, one of these happy soaring brilliant balloon faces!

I wish to nurture it all. The creativity, the growth, the circle, the friendships.

Frivolity in Wishes

Today's prompt over at Jamie's is What Frivolous Treat Do You Wish For? Because I'm going to England, my long-time love for Wellies has surged forth ... I don't, necessarily, want to purchase a pair, but I wish to be able to try some on, fun and funky colors all! And slop around the shop in them making Wellington Boot noises ... just so, after returning to this Phoenix desert where Wellies would never be needed!, I'll know precisely how they feel, smell, what they sound like!
