The Woman is Back in Town!

And here I am again, back for the hottest weekend Phoenix has had yet this summer (114 degrees expected today)! These photos are compliments of my host, Ian. This is Luke, Ian's grandson and my LOVE -- I've already told Double BB I'm going to be forced to leave him for a 2 year old British lad. What a darling!!! In the garden at Ian and Traudel's. This spot became my patio roost while I visited, far superior in terms of scenery than my own roost at home, too, I must say! The green clogs are Ian's, on loan to me whenever I went outdoors! I'm sentimentally attached to those shoes now!

I'm doing laundry and still unpacking, sorting everything. My own film (18 rolls) won't be ready until 3 p.m. today. I cannot WAIT to see the photos. I'm already speaking in my newly-acquired British accent, complete with phrases and terminology I noted in my little travel journal, making my guys laugh and doing a pretty good job of it!

Oh, have I got tales to tell, tales to tell!!! ... soon.

I'm so glad you're back...but my tears are from wishing we weren't all so far away from each other as I'd love to sit and eat for hours with you and holly and cam and anyone who would want to join us, while listening to all your stories :)

The package arrived, and OH! Oh my Buddha, Toni...you made my day, my week, my month, my moment when I needed that love the most!

I cannot quit smiling, and I've already been journaling...

Glad you had a great trip cannot wait to here about it.

I am going to be in your area next week. I am staying with friends in Tucson. A have a few things on my list to do Center for Creative Photography and other galleries in Tucson, the botanical garden. Maybe the Sonora Desert Museum. I am hoping the book that I have is wrong about Tubac being closed. I will have to get online this week and check that out. Probably a day in Phoenix. Is their anything you would recommend I see?
