Today at Lunch, I Fell in Love

My Lovely Mother visited yesterday morning and delivered to me the latest Pottery Barn catalog. I brought it along to peruse during lunch today ... lookey what I found: Wine bottle lamp. Is this not ingenious? Surely this could also be done for way less than their asking price of $399, right? Anyway I love it. I want it. NOW. No no no, not the bed -- too bulky and I will NEVER allow footboards on my beds, my feet must be FREE!!! I'm talking the overhead line, strung with favorite images, inspiration, using vintage clothespins. Dig, dig, diggin' that!!!

I have those lines strung all around my house, Toni.

I use jute string and paperclips. I have pictures, pieces of paper, postcards (including yours, it's about two feet from my head right now!) and whatever else I want to see every day.

I highly recommend it. I get compliments on it all the time, plus I get to see things I would normally not get to display.

And the bed was cracking me up.
It is almost identical to the one I just sold my mom. Berg picked out our bedroom suite before we got married! It was always too bulky for me! And, it made no sense, because of his height, his feet always hang off the bed, and he would stick them down around the footboard.

I love my floor bed right now.

I think we'll head to IKEA up in Atlanta to purchase our next one. We still can't agree on which on yet, though...lol. And, by agree, I mean, let me have the one I want.

Big Hugs to you!

Toni, yeah I am loving the light. Makes me just want to go, however I am currently exhibiting signs of keep me the hell away from stores...so I guess I am safe. As for your feet, I can't have my covered at night. If they are I feel like I can't breathe. As for the string with your things on. love it . that is a great idea. I put your letter with Hollys card in a frame as I was so touched by the both of you. Take care, cinner
