Home-Womenz Blog Posse!!!! (& Fellow Flashers!)

The Arrangement of Tabulations

You Homewomenz rock! I didn't mean to scare anyone; I would NOT stop blogging over some comment like that. (Actually, this individual has never once been brave enough to leave a comment -- she has been sending me emails, erratically, for over a year.) For the most part, I just ignored her: scratched my head and deleted the email. Then she had some particularly scathing remarks to make about my 'let's hear it for the white mothers' post (& mixed race children - not a smart place to go with the mother of such). Still, I managed to form an e-mail response to that which was humorous, quite short, & still respectful of her as an individual entitled to a differing opinion.

Yesterday, though? F'get it, she pissed me off! I was already in an easily-irked bad humor ... & she got BLASTED. Then I blocked her email address on my Yahoo account, finally. I did casually mention to her that if she didn't back off and go get a life, I was going to give HER email address to all my blogging friends, along with a copy of her latest pontification -- so stand at the ready, My Women!!

Meanwhile -- about posting my journal pages: Samantha nailed it in her comment, when she said, "But I also get a sense of something big and new on your horizon here. Questioning the process doesn't hurt. Looks like you're laying it bare and getting ready for some shadow work, which is exciting stuff. Know your truth and don't back down." The process started when I yanked my reluctant keister out of my comfort zone and went to that Big A** journal ... yesterday I listened to a 3-part radio interview with Juliana Coles (from 2004, but RELEVANT RELEVANT RELEVANT to my journaling process right now) ... and after listening to each part three times, and making some notes to myself, I decided I would start/keep a private Extreme Visual Journal with the intent of blowing the last of my Fearful Editor Voices to smithereens.

And Mel [who is a new name to me and I'll be moseying on over to see her blog later], said this: "I'm with Samantha on this one... we're just going through a Storm Moon - a time of great change and upheaval so I don't doubt that you're feeling that energy. I've been feeling it myself although more on the scale of gadding about like a blue-arsed fly with all kinds of energy but no real focus....:( Facing our Shadow-selves is all part of the process and you need provide no excuses for the retreat...."

This is why I so value this community -- I'm not in the know about energy cycles or Storm Moons, but Mel has given me an image, with explanation, that makes everything in me settle down, gives me a base of understanding that fully works with my belief system and imagination ... awesome.

and then so many flashing boobies -- HAHAHAHHA! I can't tell you what a mess I made on my monitor, spraying my Folgers in uncontrollable bursts of hilarity!!

Thank you thank you thank you!!!
============================================
But the other backgrounds that I do, in my written journal? I LOVE DOING THOSE! It's fun, it's relaxing, it's a way to use images and colors and papers and ribbons (& now, deco tapes)that I love, and it's fun to share. So those pages will continue, once I've decided what book/journal format I want to use this time.

Children are a blessing, all children. And good relationships are the icing on any cake. Pat yourself on the back. You are a winner.

I too am relieved that you'll still be sharing your beautiful pages.

You've inspired me and I can't wait to see what you'll be doing next, what with the moon and all....

I'm with the other gals who hope that your 'shite-shoveler' finds the courage to make a public spectacle of herself.
Although, she's kind of sad worrying so much about what you write in your own journal, so maybe we should all just wish her well and well away from you.

Oh well, Toni, you know how some people can be. Openions are like ass-holes and everybody has one...Most of us don't do our talking through them though! I'm glad to hear that you blocked said toothless talker! You are a very talented GEM, and I look forward to your inspiring creations!___=^..^=___Kittie
