Fantasy Shopping Trip

Toni assembles a cheeky outfit for a fantasy romp through ... hmmm ... how 'bout the areas of London where there are blues bars and maybe some vintage shops, a couple of fun pubs to have a half-pint, kind of a retro day, huh? And we're going to assume NO RAIN, because I couldn't find a proper coordinated umbrella! T-Bags. This dress, with the boots below. Waddya think? I'd be 6'-2" tall with them on, but hey! I've got the legs to pull it off! Charles David. I gotta have a hat (this one by Eugenia Kim) but the selection on Bluefly is pretty dismal. Bulga. Not big enough for my usual traveling journal, but I'm out to have fun, not write about it - can do that later!

I will change venues, and outfits, for 'high tea', however. Diane Von Furstenberg. Giuseppe Zanotti. Start the day tall, finish it tall, I say! Susana Monaco. This jacket, to ward off any potential chills.

Meanwhile: I am a hootchie for espadrilles. Kate Spade. Christian Laboutin. Christian Laboutin. I seem to gravitate to these shoes all the time.

Thanks to www.bluefly.com for this mental diversion and the lovely photos!

I think these days fantasy shopping trips are the best kind to take.
On an entirely different point: When I lived in Japan I found they translate "seaweed" as "sea vegetable." It makes not only linguistic sense but it makes them as food more palatable.

Love the Christian Laboutin espadrilles...I just wish it was warm enough to wear them!

Hi, came here through Blogs of Note. Like your style, you picked some nice things! Now and then I visit Bluefly and let my imagination go wild (what will I wear to the Oscars for instance). Glad I'm not the only one ;-)

Girlie, you have got some comments today! I love the mental vacation idea and you're going to my favorite city! You'd better take our local weather with youm, though. It seems to be snowy in England.
